The staff at Accent Credit Union are working hard to protect the members from possible exposure to the COVID-19 virus. Please review the following before visiting our branches: 

  • There is a limited amount of people allowed in the branch at one time 

  • Please follow floor markers and barricades 

  • Try to maintain a respectful distance from other members

  • If you have a cough, runny nose or fever please avoid entering the branch

  • You are required to have an appointment for lending services

We are enouraging members to use electronic means of banking when possible.

Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA)

On October 26, 2020, the following changes were made to the CEBA program:

  • Removal of requirement for business accounts to be opened prior to March 1, 2020 (business operating account to now be opened any time prior to CEBA application)
  • All applicants now have until December 31, 2020 to submit their applications for CEBA

They have also launched a pre-screen tool for applicants to complete which will help identify if they are eligible for CEBA before submitting their application.

CEBA support is being expanded from $40K to $60K. This expansion will be available to all eligible previous and new CEBA applicants. Stay tuned to the CEBA website for more details, including launch details in the coming weeks.
